Water, the sacred element of life, is calling to us. We must rise with the power of generations who understood: water is life, and without it, we cease to be.
When we raise our voices together, we call for a shift toward systems that honor the sanctity of water, land, and life itself—systems that work with nature to prevent flooding, protect our resources, and build resilient, thriving communities. Public comment is an act of spiritual Earth care, ensuring that the decisions made today do not endanger future generations or the sacred balance of our ecosystems. Divesting from fossil fuels isn’t just an economic decision; it’s a spiritual one that affirms our responsibility to sacred Earth and water. Waterspirit Celebrates Vote Early Day with Gentle New Moon Yoga to Ensure Voters Make Their Voices Heard
RUMSON, NJ- Today, local eco-spiritual nonprofit Waterspirit announced they will join thousands of organizations across the country in celebrating Vote Early Day. Vote Early Day is a civic holiday founded by national nonprofits, businesses, election administrators, and influencers to ensure that every American has the tools and knowledge to cast their ballot early for the upcoming midterm election and beyond.
We believe we can do better when we work collaboratively and plan for a livable future upon a coastal state. There is ample funding available to support some preventative measures, such as green infrastructure. There is power in linking these funds with people and projects. In response to persistent dry conditions and significantly below-average rainfall, the Murphy Administration has declared a statewide Drought Watch, urging residents and businesses to conserve water. The declaration comes as New Jersey experiences ongoing stress on its water supplies, with the last three months showing marked declines in streamflow, reservoir, and groundwater levels.
In times of drought, our relationship with water becomes even more critical. Water scarcity not only affects drinking supplies but also impacts agriculture, wildlife, and our overall quality of life. The droughts we experience serve as a stark reminder of the delicate balance we must maintain with our environment. Each drop of water we save today is a step towards securing a sustainable future for generations to come.
