Microplastics Film Screening & Advocacy Opportunity

  • First Presbyterian Church of Rumson 4 E. River Road Rumson, NJ 07760 (map)

Join Waterspirit, Save Coastal Wildlife, Oceana + more friends for an in person film screening about microplastics and what actions we can take together and individually to prevent plastics and related waste in New jersey. We will be serving light refreshments; RSVP is required.

Every drop of water is a reflection of the interconnectedness of all beings, and we must protect water from the relentless harm caused by pollutants. Microplastics pose a significant threat to human health as they can enter our bodies through water, food, and air, potentially causing long-term harm to our organs, tissues, and even our DNA. Microplastics disrupt aquatic ecosystems by harming marine life, from tiny plankton to large fish, and contaminating the food chain. These pollutants continue to accumulate and alter habitats, endanger biodiversity, and threaten the balance of life that sustains both ecosystems and human communities.

We hope you will join us for powerful films, a panel discussion and a deeper connection with our local community!
