Waterspirit's annual benefit, Joys of the Sea, will once again be held in-person! Please join us outdoors in the Oak Grove at the First Presbyterian Church of Rumson to celebrate World Oceans Day together. This summer afternoon will be filled with community-building conversations, delicious plant-based food & wine, beautiful music, and a special guest speaker.
Tickets are priced at $85. Buy your tickets before May 3 to lock in the early-bird discounted price of $75. Whole tables (8 tickets) are available at the discounted price of $600.

Every year, the Joys of the Sea committee presents the Suzanne Golas CSJP Award to an environmental champion whose work honors the legacy of Waterspirit's founder. We are delighted to announce that this year's award will be presented to Maria Lopez-Nuñez, Deputy Director of Advocacy and Organizing at the Ironbound Community Corporation. She is an environmental justice champion who, in addition to protecting her community in Newark, also serves on the board of the Climate Justice Alliance and on the White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council. She is a staunch community advocate who exemplifies the preferential option for the most vulnerable in her advocacy and community organizing work. Please join us in honoring her and in learning more about her work at Joys of the Sea.
