Connection in the Time of Coronavirus

Welcome to our peer-to-peer online meeting space for people to come and express their feelings, share helpful resources and ‘connect’ in the time of Coronavirus. This is an open meeting and the opinions shared are of the person who gave them, so please take what you like and leave the rest. This is meant to be a helpful way for people who are interested in participating to feel seen, heard, and to help one another build resilience in this massively stressful time.

Date: Friday mornings EST 10AM – 11AM

In these meetings we will begin with a short ‘check-in’ followed by a journal prompt of 5 minutes. We will then open the floor up for sharing. Please be respectful of the group and limit your sharing to a few minutes.

Synopsis:

F = Focus on what’s in your control
A = Acknowledge your thoughts & feelings
C = Come back into your body
E = Engage in what you’re doing

C = Committed action
O = Opening up
V = Values
I = Identify resources
D = Disinfect & distance
